What to Expect in Fortnite OG Season 9
The major changes coming in the next Fortnite update are, of course, the seasonal shift in Fortnite OG, bringing around the start of Season 9.
The new season is based around the original Season 9 in Fortnite, which saw Polar Peak melting and unveiling a giant Kaiju, The Devourer, and subsequently constructing Mecha Team Leader to defeat it in a major live event, which will almost certainly be revisited at the end of the season.
Outside of Fortnite OG, the main Battle Royale mode is receiving a fresh influx of Sprites to add to your collection, including a football-themed Sprite to coincide with the World Cup.
As ever, the new update will also bring about the introduction of new cosmetics into the Item Shop, including the recently revealed Krypto sidekick.
