Persona 6 Might Not be Years Off Like Players Are Expecting

One of the most fun reveals during the XBOX Games Showcase 2026 was Persona 6. There have been remakes since the fifth mainline game, but a sixth full game is where it’s at, and it’s surprisingly already been rated.

It was a fun double-whammy for the Persona series during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026. Firstly, we got a release date for Persona 4 Revival. But we weren’t done there, as Persona 6 was also announced during the XBOX Games Showcase.

Persona 6 Officially Rated Already

Fans have already been snooping around Persona 6 for clues on the game’s whereabouts. That detective work has been rewarded, as it’s been discovered that Persona 6 has been rated in Australia.

The Australian Classification Board has given Persona 6 an M rating.

Under Consumer Advice, buyers are warned that the game includes: Violence, Nudity, and Coarse Language.

‘But what’s the significance of a game being rated?’ you might be asking. Very simply, games get rated when they’re closer to release. I’ve seen some theories that we might be waiting until 2028 for Persona 6 to come out.

Yet, a source claims Persona 6 could be scheduled for 2027, and this rating is starting to make that prediction look far more achievable and realistic.
