TBH: Task Bar Hero is Challenging Counter-Strike 2’s Dominance on Steam

A new Steam title has emerged from nowhere and is averaging around half a million concurrent players on Steam. Whether it can be classified as a game is one thing, but it has carried on an interesting Trend in recent years.

Steam Charts is usually propped up by the same few games: Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, PUBG, etc. A new download has appeared in the form of TBH: Task Bar Hero, and even though it hasn’t been around long, it’s grabbing the attention of many.

Counter-Strike 2 Looking Over Its Shoulder At Task Bar Hero

The last time I checked, TBH: Task Bar Hero had a 24-hour peak of 524,715 concurrent players.

So, what is it exactly? It’s yet another idle title that basically plays itself in the background while you get on with your everyday life.

The enchanting charm about this one is that you basically have a pixelated performance art of RPG heaven going on whilst you’re sinking your hours into spreadsheets and social media.

It’s not the first idle game to crack the upper echelons of Steam Charts. Other notable examples are Bongo Cat, which reached an all-time peak of nearly 200K, whereas Banana was touching on 900K!

It means Task Bar Hero still has a ways to go to take the ultimate crown, but expect to see it near the top of Steam Charts for a while.
