Assassin’s Creed Shadows developers have confirmed details for the final content update, Black Tides, and it brings the last story quest for Naoke and Yasuke.
The developers of Assassin’s Creed Shadows have been releasing updates since the game’s launch; however, we have now reached the final one, which will bring new content that extends past the endgame. Details about the final story drop and the new endgame feature have been revealed below.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Final Update Arrives on June 16
The last content drop for Assassin’s Creed Shadows will arrive tomorrow, and the developers have provided new details about the free story update, Black Tides. This is an endgame quest where players will see Naoke and Yasuke battle elite Templars known as the Black Cross. These new enemies have made their way to Japan just to hunt the duo, but they also have other mysterious goals.
To play the final content, players need to have finished the main story and the other two free content drops. Claws of Awaji DLC isn’t necessary to be completed.
Domains Will Introduce 5 New Arenas Across 10 Difficulties
The other update, called Domains, has been described as an ‘Animus-bending activity’ and extends beyond Assassin’s Creed: Shadow’s endgame. It will have 5 new areas and 10 difficulties, with more modifiers being added as you go through the various difficulties. Domains will also come with their own endgame merchant and currency, allowing players to unlock some more cosmetics, weapons, progression tree, and more.
