Every Leaked Character For Marvel Rivals—Release Details & More

Marvel Rivals is the definition of a content mill, with new maps, events, skins and game modes constantly added to the game. The one everyone truly cares about, though, are the new characters, and so far, at least one has arrived every month alongside a new Season and split.

With Marvel having a character roster in the hundreds, if not thousands, there’s an almost endless supply of new heroes and villains that the team at NetEase can pick from for the hero shooter. Well, it looks like they’ve already got an eye for a healthy list of potential additions, and leakers have got a hold of them.

Whether it’s through datamined voice lines or other game files, plenty of characters are seemingly in development for Marvel Rivals. With plenty of prior leaks already coming true (such as Cyclops, Deadpool, White Fox and many more), there’s credence to keeping track of these leaks—and we’ve rounded them all up for you below.

Every Leaked Character For Marvel Rivals

As things stand, there are over 20 characters who have been leaked for Marvel Rivals and are yet to be introduced to the game as playable.

These differ vastly in reliability, with some characters having internal IDs, all but confirming their eventual arrival, whilst others have since seemingly been scrapped or replaced. On the other hand, some characters like Professor X have been leaked since Season 2, though they seem nowhere in sight, release-wise.

With all of that in mind, take a lot of these leaks with a huge pinch of salt. They might be in the game files, but development can chop and change incredibly quickly, with some likely having been delayed or scrapped altogether. Potential Release Dates For Leaked Marvel Rivals Characters

A lot of these characters leak without a release window in mind, as they’re simply found to exist in the game files, but we do have an idea for when some of them could be released.

At the time of writing, Season 8.5 is around the corner, with Season 9 on the horizon. In the final gallery card for Season 8, there’s a mention of The Hood and Jubilee, effectively confirming them as the new heroes for Season 9.

Looking past that, Season 10 is rumored to include Nightcrawler and Gorr the God Butcher, with the titular Doctor Doom slated for Season 11. These are currently subject to change, but Doom’s release in Season 11 would coincide nicely with the release of Avengers Doomsday.

As for the rest? Who knows. Captain Marvel has been heavily rumored for months now, and she seems to remain as far away as ever. One thing that’s for sure, though, is that there’s still plenty more content in the pipeline for Marvel Rivals, as the developers aren’t running out of characters anytime soon—but can we see some more villains, at the very least?
