Summer Game Fest is in full swing, and with Sony’s State of Play and the main SGF Showcase out of the way, all eyes are beginning to move towards the XBOX Games Showcase 2026.

This year, it’s looking like a two-parter, with the XBOX-focused showcase kicking things off before we get a Gears of War: E-Day Direct, which, as you might have guessed, will give us a deep look into the highly anticipated prequel.

Gears of War aside, though, what else can we expect to see during the XBOX Games Showcase? We’re here to answer that question, as we’ve collected a list of every confirmed and rumored game for the XBOX Games Showcase 2026—check them all out below.

Whilst it’s obvious that Gears of War: E-Day will appear during the XBOX Games Showcase, a Steam banner seems to have confirmed the appearance of seven titles during the event.

On Steam, you can find a section displaying games announced at each of the Summer Game Fest events, and the XBOX Games Showcase has a banner. Eagle-eyed fan curatorgamingx on X spotted that some titles were already displayed here. It’s now been updated to remove these games, but the following seven titles were present:

  • Fable
  • Halo Campaign Evolved
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
  • State of Decay 3
  • Minecraft Dungeons 2
  • Clockwork Revolution
  • Gears of War: E-Day

None of these titles are especially surprising, and it’s fair to say each of them was expected. With Fable’s recent delay, a new look should tide fans over, whilst a release date for Halo Campaign Evolved seems well overdue, especially with the recent leaks.

Speaking of leaks, Minecraft Dungeons 2 pre-emptively appeared on the Nintendo eStore, revealing its release date and price—expect an official announcement this Sunday. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 should also make an appearance, with a new look at the returning DMZ extraction game mode on the cards.

As for Clockwork Revolution, a release date could be a real possibility, with many fans eagerly awaiting the blend of Dishonoured and Bioshock action. And then there’s State of Decay 3. The game has been in development for a long time now, but with the game ‘coming on well,’ it would make sense to see some more of the game—and maybe a release window?

Every Rumored Game For XBOX Games Showcase

Aside from those heavy hitters mentioned above, there’s still room for plenty of surprises at the XBOX Games Showcase. Here’s what else we think has a strong chance of appearing based on rumors and speculation.

Persona 4 Revival

Persona 4 Revival was revealed at last year’s XBOX Games Showcase, and with the game being rated in Korea, it’s likely we’re nearing a release date announcement. Rumors suggest it’s due next February, but we could find out for sure on Sunday.

Persona 6

Persona 4 Revival is bound to be great, but it’s fair to say that everyone is more than ready for the next mainline entry into the franchise. Well, it doesn’t seem like we should have to wait much longer, as according to leakers, Persona 6 is set to be unveiled at the XBOX Games Showcase.

With SEGA issuing copyright strikes to Persona 6 leakers, it’s fair to assume they’re preparing for the big reveal. It might still be a ways away, but even an official announcement will set the fandom alight—is anyone else desperate to hear just a slice of the new soundtrack?!

Metro 2039

With such a captivating announcement back in April, it’s high time we see some proper gameplay for Metro 2039. It’s currently slated for a late 2026 release, so it wouldn’t be out of the question, and based on what we’ve seen so far, I’m more than ready for more.

Beast of Reincarnation

Beast of Reincarnation, arguably Game Freak’s most ambitious non-Pokémon title, has appeared at a variety of events. It was announced at an XBOX showcase, though a release date was shared during the February State of Play. It’s slated for a day-one release on Game Pass, so perhaps it’ll share some new gameplay ahead of its launch.

Blade

It’s been almost three years since Blade was announced at the 2023 Game Awards, and there has been almost radio silence since. With his MCU movie trapped in limbo, fans of the Daywalker are desperate to at least see the game get acknowledged, let alone a release date or gameplay.

Fallout 3 Remake/Something Bethesda

Look, I’m sure we’re all desperate to hear news regarding the Elder Scrolls 6, but let’s be real, that game is likely still years away. In the meantime, though, how’s about that long-rumored Fallout 3 Remake? Fans have been speculating about this game for a good while now, and an official announcement has to arrive at some point—why not Sunday?

Wolfenstein 3

It’s been over a decade since the new Wolfenstein trilogy began, with Wolfenstein: The New Order. With rumors that the third game in the trilogy is in development, could we see its official announcement at the XBOX Games Showcase? There’s certainly a strong chance.

Other Potential Appearances

There are bound to be plenty of surprises during the XBOX Games Showcase, and it’s impossible to predict them all. That said, here are a few more titles that could appear at the event, including some that were recently added to XBOX Game Pass Coming Soon:

  • Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy
  • Tropico 7
  • There Are No Ghosts At The Grand
  • Armatus
  • Witchbrook
  • Mudang: Two Hearts
  • Spyro
  • Forza Horizon 6 Update/PS5 Release Date
  • Diablo 4
