Virtua Fighter Crossroads Revealed At Summer Games Fest

The next Virtua Fighter game has been officially revealed, and it’s a large open-world experience.

During Summer Games Fest 2026, Virtua Fighter Crossroads was announced and showed off its open-world concept in a massive trailer.

Cielo was featured prominently in the trailer, showcasing single-player gameplay that looked much more like Yakuza than a traditional Virtua Fighter. The game will release in 2027, but a full release date was not shown. More details will be shown at an official showcase for the game later this evening at 8:00 p.m. ET.
