Jurassic Park: Survival ‘Looking Very Solid’ in Long-Awaited Update

Development of Jurassic Park: Survival is ongoing, Saber Interactive has confirmed, with the title “looking very solid,” ending months of silence on the project.

Originally announced in December 2023, a behind-the-scenes featurette was aired in August 2025, but updates have been few and far between since, particularly in recent months.

A mysterious silence has been noticed around the Jurassic Park franchise as a whole, but that finally came to an end recently, and, although small, the update on Jurassic Park: Survival is a positive one.

Jurassic Park: Survival ‘Looking Very Solid’

In a statement issued to Game File, Saber Interactive CEO Matt Karch confirmed Jurassic Park: Survival is “very much under active development and looking very solid.”

It remains to be seen whether more details around Jurassic Park: Survival are shown during Summer Game Fest season, although the apparent end to the radio silence concerning the Jurassic Park franchise only came recently, perhaps too soon for the title to take center stage.

The situation with Jurassic Park spread beyond video games, with even the official account of the franchise on social media not posting for two months, before a mysterious tweet was posted on June 1 with the caption “We’re back in business.”

That shows just how widespread whatever the issue with the franchise was, and while it did extend to TV and movies, the video game scene has been particularly impacted.

None more so than Jurassic World Evolution 3, which saw monthly free updates, featuring new dinosaurs, abruptly halted for reasons outside of Frontier’s control, though they too resumed this month.

Interestingly, the end of that period without content drops also coincided with the arrival of Jurassic World Evolution 3 on the XBOX Game Pass service.

Fortunately for fans of the franchise, it seems whatever the issue was has now been resolved, and there’s plenty to look forward to with Jurassic World: Survival on the horizon, and confirmation that the franchise will feature in the recently announced Stuntman: Hollywood.
