New Sly Cooper Game Continues to be Hinted at

Reports have suggested that certain Sony PlayStation IPs could be in line for a long-awaited return. One of the biggest names at the top of the list is Sly Cooper, the series that put Sucker Punch Productions on the map.

It’s been far too long since we last heard Carmelita Fox yell ‘COOPER!’ at the top of her frustrated lungs. 13 years have passed since Sucker Punch aptly passed the torch to Sanzaru Games to develop and release Sly 4 (Thieves in Time).

It doesn’t matter which developer it is; we need a Sly Cooper return ASAP, and new details give credence to this rumor.

Leaker NateTheHate gave fans of numerous franchises hope by declaring PlayStation is exploring the revival of older IPs.

As you can already imagine, Sly is one of those names.

A post on the SlyCooper subreddit uncovered some details recently, showing that Sanzaru Games has opened a new studio called Sneaky Devil Studios—a possible reference to the end of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.

SPOILER WARNING: Check it out at 1:07:35 in OhSoOJ’s video below!

The subreddit post (see below) also includes a now-deleted screenshot of Sly Cooper voice actor Kevin Miller congratulating Co-Founder Mat Kraemer, with Kraemer saying in response:

‘Awe gee, thanks for the kind words, we should work together again.’

Why did Kraemer delete his reply? I’ll let you decide.

Also, while it’s probably only Team ASOBI stirring the pot for some fun engagement, the team just so happened to post an Astro Bot clip of Sly Cooper—on the day of Sony’s June 2026 State of Play of all days.

There’s a lot of evidence here, but it might be for naught. Insider Gaming will keep you up to date with any new information on a possible Sly revival or leaks if we hear them.

This seems like an obvious question…but how keen would you be for Sly and co. to make a triumphant return? Share your thoughts through the Insider Gaming Discord.
