A fresh week has begun in Forza Horizon 6, bringing a new batch of tasks to complete in the Autumn period of the Welcome to Japan Festival Playlist, including a new Treasure Hunt in the Minamino region.

The first seasonal playlist of Forza Horizon 6 kicked off on May 28 with Summer, marking the start of a four-week period of new content drops and seasonal changes in the Welcome to Japan Playlist, and now it’s time for Autumn to bring widespread changes across the map.

If you want to hunt down the new treasure chest in Forza Horizon 6, Insider Gaming has the details you need.

The Treasure Hunt Chest in the Forza Horizon 6 Welcome to Japan Summer Festival Playlist in the Minamino region is located on the golf course, highlighted on the map above.

Unlike when locating a Treasure Car or Barn Find, you don’t have to manually collect the Chest, nor do you need to watch a cut scene, and, instead, you can just smash through the Chest to collect your reward, just like you do for the Mascots and Horizon XP boards on the map.

If you have already visited the location, you can fast travel straight there. If not, head to one of the nearby roads and work your way across the course until you spot the Chest, which is located at the top of a hill.

If you’re struggling to find it, keep an eye out for the location of nearby players in the area, as players tend to congregate around the location of the Treasure Hunt, making it even easier to find.

What Do You Get From The Treasure Hunt Chest?

Hunting down the Treasure Chest in the Minamino region during the Autumn season of the Forza Horizon 6 Welcome to Japan playlist is certainly worthwhile, with the main reward being a hefty chunk of 100,000 Credits.

Credits are the lifeblood of Forza Horizon 6, used for everything from buying new cars and new houses, to upgrading your favorite vehicle and customization.

While it doesn’t take too long to earn millions of Credits in Forza Horizon 6, it’s always worth making sure you have as much as possible, particularly with the regular content drops and new offerings.

The last thing you want is to have something new added to the game that you’re desperate for, only to discover you’re short on the Credits needed.
