Destruction AllStars Pulled from PlayStation Store

Another PlayStation exclusive has been pulled from the PlayStation Store. An email recently confirmed that Destruction AllStars, a 2021 release, has been pulled from the online store. Additionally, the game’s live-service features will remain offline, including online multiplayer.

Developed by Lucid Games and published by Sony, this was a vehicle combat game that was exclusive to PlayStation platforms. The game was originally planned to be a launch title for PS5 in November 2020, but was pushed back to April 2021.

Destruction AllStars Single-Player Mode Stays Until November

The only part of the game that is sticking around, at least until November, is the single-player mode. He confirmed that the single-player mode will stick around until November 25. Beyond that, solo arcade modes will stick around but with limited functionality.

“Due to ongoing technical issues, multiplayer services for Destruction AllStars on PlayStation 5 consoles shall remain offline and are no longer available,” reads the statement (via Press Start).

Unfortunately, many live service games have been shut down this year. Highguard lasted less than 2 months before being shut down. Amazon Games’ New World: Aeternum is slated to be taken offline next year. Concord, another Sony exclusive, was shut down after a very short life cycle in 2024.
