In a post on social media, Rockstar Games has lifted the lid on the second week of the GTA Online Motor Madness event, a two-week showcase of all things car. This post, which was met with love and jubilation from the community, comes as absolutely nothing else is planned in Rockstar Games’ social schedule.
GTA Online is the gift that keeps on giving, and as there horizon is quiet for the Grand Theft Auto world, it stands as the only experience in the space receiving regular updates.
GTA Online is Great For Car Folks
If you’re vehicle-mad, then you’ll love the GTA Online Motor Madness event. On May 15th, Rockstar Games unveiled the two-week showcase, which allows users to soak up massive boosts in GTA$ and RP across a wide array of events and minigames.
As the team wrote in a blog post to announce the event:
Rev your engine and get ready for two weeks of automotive mayhem as Los Santos is engulfed in the high-octane, nitrous-infused action of Motor Madness.
The first week was all about quadruple rewards on Land Races and kickstarting a range of car meets, encouraging users from far and wide to come together and show off their best builds.
If there’s anything in GTA Online that has to do with cars, it’s included in the Motor Madness event. That includes using Salvage Yards to secure scrap vehicles, helping Simeon on his contact missions, taking part in all kinds of races, and carrying out Auto Shop robberies.

During the second week of GTA Online Motor Madness, users can soak up the following bonuses:
- 5X LS Car Meet Rep
- 2X GTA$ and RP on Auto Shop Robbery Contracts
- 2X GTA$ and RP on the LS Car Meet Series
- 2X GTA$ and RP on Junk Energy Time Trials (4X for GTA+ Members)
- 2X GTA$ and RP on RC Time Trials

As I stated in the opener, there’s obviously nothing else important happening in the GTA space right now, so this is the biggest story of the day for fans. If you’re waiting on anything else to happen in the realm of Grand Theft Auto, you’ll need to side back, bide your time, and run a race or two in GTA Online.
