Sony has trademarked a new PlayStation game called ‘Break In’ ahead of its State of Play event in June.
The new trademark for ‘Break In‘ was filed on May 20, 2026, suggesting that the game could be revealed at the PlayStation State of Play event on June 2.
But what is it? As expected, speculation is already running rampant online, but we think it’s probably Haven Studios’ Fairgame$, which almost certainly wants a rebrand following its disastrous reveal trailer.
Insider Gaming has also covered the game in April, after we learned that the game is still struggling to ‘find the fun’ in playtests. However, from gameplay footage we saw, we noted that the game’s tone has shifted considerably since its initial reveal, which could warrant a name change.
But apart from the obvious, other bits of speculation online have suggested that the game could be something to do with Firesprite, or even a little more out there, something to do with the Uncharted series.
To us, though, we’re leaning towards this being a rename for Fairgame$, after all, the name is perfect for a heist-based game.
