A reliable insider has revealed that PlayStation’s Days of Play sale is returning on May 27, 2026.

The last Days of Play sale was in May 2025, when players received discounts on a wide range of games, as well as deals on accessories and consoles. The new Days of Play 2026 sale will also feature the same type of discounts, and some expected offers have been revealed.

PlayStation Days of Play 2026 Begins on May 27

A new report from the reliable Dealabs has revealed that PlayStation’s Days of Play 2026 sale will begin on May 27 and run until June 10, giving players two weeks to grab the deals. The report also states that the deals will be similar to the discounts that were seen during the Black Friday sale in 2025. Check out the expected offers in the Days of Play 2026 below:

  • The DualSense controller will be offered at a €20 discount, with a starting price of €54.99.
  • The DualSense Edge controller will see a €30 discount, with the price dropping to €189.99 from €219.99.
  • The biggest discount appears to be on the PSVR2 headset, with a €100 discount, bringing the price down to €349.99 from €449.99.
  • Ghost of Yotei is also expected to feature a discount, bringing the price down to €54.99 from €79.99
  • A €20 discount will be available on the Pulse Elite headphones and the Pulse Explore earphones.
  • PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional
5% discount for PlayStation Direct deals, which can be combined with other Days of Play deals. Retailers will also feature their own discounts.

Days of Play 2026 Might Not Feature Discounts on Consoles

The reports state that Days of Play 2026 doesn’t appear to offer a discount on PS5, PS5 Pro, or PS Portal consoles. It is unclear why, but the price increase is speculated to be one reason. Players will know for sure once the official announcement arrives, which is expected on May 26.

In other news, PlayStation Plus prices will be increasing this week for new customers in select regions. Additionally, Sony has confirmed that a new PlayStation State of Play will arrive next month, featuring an extended look at Marvel’s Wolverine. What are your thoughts on Days of Play 2026?
