Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Showcase: Improved combat, ships, characters, and more

The Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced showcase just wrapped up, finally confirming what numerous leaks and rumors had already revealed ages ago. While Ubisoft has responded with good humor to the leaks – their tweets joking “we know you know” – it was nice to finally get the official details surrounding this remake of an iconic game.

The game has been rebuilt from the ground up, making it a true remake rather than a remaster like fans had feared. The official release date for the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake is July 9, 2026, an excitingly close time frame.
