Logitech G is adding to its racing offering for sim drivers. The company has announced its brand new Logitech G RS H-Shifter, a manual 7+R shifter that pairs with the RS 50 wheelbase.
“For years, racers have yearned for a product that combines modern engineering with the timeless precision of manual control, and Logitech G has delivered,” Logitech G said via release. “The RS H-Shifter offers seamless cross-platform compatibility and customization, making it an essential tool for both seasoned veterans and new enthusiasts yearning for the visceral thrill of manual control.”
The RS H-Shifter features a custom 7-speed shift mechanism with reserve, along with a push-through lockout that prevents an accidental shift to 7th or reverse. There’s also a Hall Effect sensor that is designed to “ensure long-term reliability, addressing the reliability issues in the old G-series shifter design.”
Connection-wise, the shifter is built to connect directly to the PRO/RS50 wheel base for use on console or directly to your PC via USB 2.0. It can even be used with other G-Series wheels via the Racing Adapter.
Lastly, the shifter allows for customization with aftermarket pieces. Whether you purchase one or 3D print your own, you can swap out the shift knob or shaft extender to optimize your personal setup.
The Logitech G RS H-Shifter is available now for $159.99/€159.99 via Logitech G’s website.
