Pokémon Pokopia offers an entirely new way to enjoy the beloved franchise in a life simulation game, and learning about the habitats system is crucial for progression.

Pokopia puts players in control of a Ditto with the strange ability of being able to transform into a human, putting you in control of restoring a desolute landscape and luring Pokémon back to the region.

If you’re on the hunt to restore as many habitats as you can to increase the number of Pokémon you have discovered, Insider Gaming has all the details.

Like traditional Pokémon games, Pokémon in Pokopia are locked to specific areas, known as habitat. Without them, you won’t be able to encounter them.

The process works similarly to Pokémon spawns in the main game. A habitat has several Pokémon that can spawn from it, the majority of which need to be created by the player.

Some require natural resources, like grass, trees, and water, while others require specifically constructed items, like Campfires and Benches.

All of the habitats in Pokémon Pokopia are shown in the table below, alongside the requirements to create them and the Pokémon that can spawn there. We’ll continue to add more habitats as they are discovered.

What Are Habitats in Pokémon Pokopia?

Habitats in Pokopia are crucial to spawning new Pokémon and progressing in the game. Without habitats, you won’t be able to make friends with new Pokémon.

While many Pokémon have the same habitats, each habitat can only be the home of one Pokémon. For example, if you have one Tall Grass habitat occupied by Bulbasaur, other Pokémon like Charmander won’t spawn. Instead, you’ll need to make the same habitat again.

However, you can move Pokémon out of a habitat and into a new one, or into a constructed home, which opens the door for Pokémon to spawn at the habitat that has been vacated.

The more habitats you have, the more Pokémon you can meet, and it’s always worth ensuring you have at least one spare habitat of each type for the rarer spawns that require certain times of the day or weather.
