How to find the Scout Cannon in PEAK

You won’t have to wait until you get to the new PEAK Mesa biome to find the Scout Cannon, as you can find it in any piece of luggage and any biome. This handy and chaotic bit of kit is a regular item, unlike the Scoutmaster Trumpet or Fairy Lantern, so you should find it in a red or white piece of luggage during your journey.

How they manage to fit a whole cannon in a little suitcase is a wonder in itself, but it is best not to think too hard about it. Instead, if you find the Scout Cannon, it is worth grabbing and making room for it in your backpack or an inventory slot.

How to use the Scout Cannon in PEAK

The Scout Cannon is the perfect tool for launching yourself or a fellow Scout across a vast canyon to a ledge or safe area on the other side. Thanks to its slowly burning fuse, you can use it solo by lighting it and then jumping into the cannon at the front.

The Scout Cannon can be used multiple times, letting your entire team cross an area one at a time. Using the cannon is a little trial-and-error as you need to find the right angle, with no clear indication of where the cannon will hurl you. You can only place the cannon once, with no way to adjust it once it is placed, so there is some risk there.

The Scout Cannon is best used to reach places you might not feel confident you can get to by climbing and leaping alone. The more you use the Scout Cannon, the better you will understand its power and its limitations.
