Call of Duty’s latest Multiplayer title, Black Ops 6, is stepping into the spotlight at the Esports World Cup 2025, and it’s bringing a massive $1.8 million prize pool.
This comes on the heels of last year’s successful Modern Warfare 3 showdown at the EWC, which saw the world’s best teams battle it out for a similarly stacked prize.

Black Ops 6 Esports World Cup 2025 format
The tournament kicks off with a group stage followed by the playoffs.
During the group stage, the 16 teams are split into four GSL-style groups: Here’s how the teams are grouped:

All matches in the group stage are best-of-five. The top two teams from each group move on to the playoffs.
From there, it’s a single-elimination bracket. Every match is best-of-five until the grand final, when things get even more intense with a best-of-seven showdown.
