After the two-week-long Summer seasonal update in Grow a Garden, the devs have dropped a dinosaur-themed Prehistoric Update. This time around, not only is Sam back at the seed shop with all of your favorite crops, but there are also eight brand-new seeds up for grabs. One of them even outshines Candy Blossom when it comes to the selling price.

Dinosaur Egg & All New Pets in Grow a Garden

You can get Dinosaur Eggs by giving random pets (except dinos) to Graham at the event platform in Grow a Garden. He accepts all kinds of critters, like the Golden Lab, Bees, Bunny, and more, but he won’t take any dinosaur pets. This scientist uses your pets’ DNA to create Dinosaur Eggs (and sometimes, he might even give you a dinosaur directly).

Dinosaur Eggs can hatch into six different pets. Here’s a breakdown of each one:

The 1.13.0 update introduced four new mutations. The table below explains each one and how you can get them on your crops:

Sandy Mutation	3x Value	During Sandstorm weather, some of your crops will turn Sandy, increasing their selling value.
Amber Mutation	10x Value	To get the Amber Mutation in Grow a Garden, either leave a Raptor in your garden or use an Amber Mutation Spray on your fruits. This variant makes your fruit 10 times more profitable.
Ceramic Mutation	30x Value	If a fruit has both Clay and Burnt Mutation, or Clay and Sundried Mutation, it becomes Ceramic, increasing its value 30 times.

Just like the Summer Merchant, the Honey Merchant might also appear in the game every four hours, offering a unique set of crops.
