Zoominoes Launches on Steam With New Content and Bug Fixes

Zoominoes is now available on Steam with an introductory discount.

Zoominoes is a unique take on roguelike deckbuilders. Players assemble their zoos with various tiles, which can be combined in multiple ways to change the board and earn points. The game was also featured during the recent Insider Gaming Showcase in May.

Zoominoes Release Comes With a Launch Day Patch

Along with the release, there is a new patch featuring major updates based on the demo playthroughs. Among those updates, there is now an increase to 20 zookeeper options; the demo only featured three. All zookeepers have unique dialogue lines for selection, win, loss, and the start of the game, a collection fun fact, and a sticky note in the calendar.

New achievements have been added. There are now up to 47 achievements. There are also special events, including Talent Scout, Penalty Zone, Best for Last, and Food Fight.

There’s also a wide variety of bug fixes that you can see below:

• Shark doesn’t break with doubled abilities.
• Collect all snacks achievement now possible (you can collect Mystery Snack Box)
• Shop items no longer stay gray when gaining gold from things like Lucky Coin.
• Time Capsule now applies buffs to summoned copies.
• Daily Challenge play again button is removed.
• Gulper Eel now works with Rainbow animals.
• Lava no longer doubles points of all rainbow animals.
• Walrus will now correctly trigger on x2 spaces
• Cherufe will now correctly trigger if its in your opening hand
• Plushy will now correctly apply its triple bonus to animals that are drawn for the turn
• Pterodactyl will now correctly copy Electric Eels ability
• Summons no longer affect “Dice”
• Bigfoot now correctly buffs itself from its ability
• Honey Badger was incorrectly getting buffed by Vanilla Chandelier
• Animals that dynamically gain points now correctly work with mirror
• Narwhal’s strong hinting now correctly accounts for occupied spaces
• Rhino now correctly works with Matching Outfit (will now charge to the other side)
• Dodo with Matching Outfit will no longer take more animals from your deck than it should
• Jacana will now get rainbow animals from your deck if its a single color
• Tons of text and animation fixes
