Virtual Boy Games Coming To Nintendo Switch Online In February

Nintendo has announced that Virtual Boy games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online in February.

The games will be available for those with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription. They’ll also be playable on both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

Starting February 17, seven games will be availble to play. These games include Galactic Pinball, 3-D Tetris, Teleroboxer, Virtual Boy Wario Land, The Mansion of Innsmouth, Golf, and Red Alarm. Also coming later in 2026 are Mario Tennis, Mario Clash, Space Invaders Virtual Collection, Jack Bros, Virtual Bowling, Vertical Force, V-Tetris, and two unreleased games D-Hopper and Zero Racer.

In order to play the games on the system, players will have to own one of two available accessories. The $100 Virtual Boy for Nitendo Switch 2/Switch or the $25 carboard model. You also need to have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership in order to even by required accessory.

With the more expensive Virtual Boy, players will be able to swap out lenses to change the colors of the games later this year.
