TheBurntPeanut Addresses New Wave of Botting Allegations

Anyone in the streaming space who knows TheBurntPeanut, will know that he started his career under strong allegations of ‘viewbotting’ on Twitch. The animated character (who isn’t a VTuber!) saw extraordinary growth through 2025, going from a few hundred concurrent viewers to as many as 100,000 concurrent viewers as the year closed.

Many have attributed this growth to malicious practices, like botting. Others, who know what TheBurntPeanut is all about, insist his superstar growth is from being genuinely entertaining and hilarious to watch.

He has appeared on stream addressing these allegations once again, as they’ve been flaring up of late.

Is TheBurntPeanut Botting on Twitch?

It’s no secret that many streamers use viewbotting methods. It has been addressed by Twitch directly over the years, and it’s typically the easiest thing in the world to spot. If you jump into a streamer’s broadcast with 20,000 viewers and three people in chat, you know what’s up.

That’s not the case with TheBurntPeanut, as his chat is always popping, but many still believe this insane peanut-like character, who has never revealed his face since adopting the identity, must be botting.

During a recent stream, TheBurntPeanut addressed these claims:

Theye’re going to clip whatever I say anyways, I might as well make it good.

You guys mind if I be a little unhumble for a second? I just like hanging out with you boys and gaming, but I’ve got to for just a second.

I call viewbotting the loser’s topic, that’s what I call it. You have too many viewers, not even likes? You’re viewbotting. You have too many likes, you’re likebotting. You have too many viewers, you don’t have enough subscribers, you’re viewbotting. Too many viewers, too many subscribers, you’re subscribebotting.

You can spin it any way you can, at the base of it, it’s cope. At the base of the argument, it’s cope. There’s no way to prove anyone is viewbotting or if they’re not. There’s no way to prove it, either way it is.

Even an OnlyFans lady only appeals to like, 50% of the population that likes p***y, this is a real loser topic.

Of course your post is going to blow up, it’s a bunch of other losers coping at the same time, all together, it’s like a party, that’s how it works.

Come on, is there anything lower? Jesus.

Let me expand on that again, I hate to be unhumble, I hate it, but guys, we switched to Brazilian servers, we switched to European servers, we switched to a server called Oceanic, I don’t even know what that means! I can’t find a single f***er on any continent on this planet who doesn’t know who we are.

And you’re saying I’m viewbotting?

TheBurntPeanut exploded last year and remained consistent since, going on to win awards and being regarded as one of the fastest-growing streamers ever. He has found himself beefing with Dr Disrespect fans at times, but aside from that, he generally gets on well with every other streamer in the space, which has helped grow his profile over the months.

He even got a streamer item in Escape from Tarkov in record time, with Battlestate Games recognizing his love for the popular extraction shooter that bestows these cherished items upon top-tier content creators.
