The first proper bit of new media for Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, the much-anticipated sequel, since the game’s official announcement during Summer Game Fest 2026, is a music video using a whole lot of AI. Because why not?

‘Wanna be in LOVE Feat. Evie’ is a Stellar Blade: Blood Rain AI Music Video

To be clear, this is not a fan-made project. If you head on over to the SHIFT UP YouTube channel, you’ll see the music video: “Wanna be in LOVE” Feat. Evie.

It’s a three-minute and thirty-seven-second music video, set in Blood Rain’s universe.

There is a disclaimer in small print at the end: ‘This video was created using the Game resource from Stellar Blade: Blood Rain and regenrated with AI support.’

If it wasn’t already obvious.

Honestly, the song itself is classically catchy. You will do well to get past the obvious AI filter and artificially created visuals, though, if you watch the music video.

Right now, the second top comment on the video says, ‘They really thought they were cooking with this AI slop.’

In an industry where AI is becoming more prevalent, and gamers are becoming more put off by the technology by the second, Shift Up going all out on an AI product to advertise its new game is a bold strategy. Let’s see if it pays off for them.
