Splatoon Raiders is Higher Rated Than Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Last of Us & Baldur’s Gate 3

Nintendo went down the spin-off route with Splatoon Raiders. It’s the classic gameplay you’ve come to love, and is seen as an accessible entry to all comers. It reviewed well, but has gone down even better with actual players, to the point it’s now a GOAT!

Splatoon Raiders has become yet another solid Nintendo exclusive addition.

Nintendo wanted something slightly different for Splatoon Raiders, and based on user reviews, it seems to have paid off tremendously.

As of writing, Splatoon Raiders boasts a top 10-cracking user review score of 93/100 on Metacritic.

This almost dwarfs its more than respectable critic score of 81/100 for the Nintendo Switch 2.

The key difference is the sample size: The Metascore is based on 81 Critic Reviews, whereas the User Score is currently based on 835 User Ratings and counting.

For context, this puts Splatoon Raiders at number 7 on the Metacritic all-time ‘Best Games by User Score’ list.

Ahead of it are Resident Evil Requiem, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (2005), The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine, Silent Hill 2 (2001), and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Unfortunately, it’s also beaten by Disney Cory in the House on the Nintendo DS, which is an example of people power with user reviews, as its actual critic scores are closer to 3s and 4s.

Everything in the top 20-30 is mostly an all-time great, though, so Splatoon Raiders is in good company. As with user reviews, the score could change in a heartbeat very quickly.
