Resident Evil Requiem Reveals Closer Look at Protagonist Grace Ashcroft

A new image from Resident Evil Requiem has been released, offering a better look at protagonist Grace Ashcroft. Fans have high expectations for Resident Evil Requiem, which arrives four years after the release of Resident Evil Village, the latest entry in the mainline series.

Capcom surprised fans by revealing Grace Ashcroft as the protagonist of Resident Evil Requiem. With the first glimpse of the upcoming revealed during Summer Games Fest 2025, the trailer showed Grace in her job as a technical analyst at the FBI. She is then tasked by her boss, Nathan Dempsy, to investigate a series of mysterious infections and deaths, the most recent of which occurred at the Wrenhood Hotel. Resident Evil Requiem has gained a new image, giving a closer look at Grace Ashcroft. On Twitter, user AestheticGamer posted promotional art that they claim is official from Capcom, showing Grace’s face up close. The artwork is impressive for its level of detail, such as the character’s haircut and the realism of her eyes. The same image also shows Grace in a different look from the office attire she primarily wears in the Resident Evil Requiem trailer, with her donning jeans, boots, a gray shirt, and an orange-brown jacket with a black hood.

Resident Evil Explores the Past and Present With Grace Ashcroft as the Protagonist

On social media, fans approved of the look revealed by the new image, complimenting Grace’s design and details that reminded them of other characters such as Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, and Ada Wong.
