Operation Silent Hunt will launch on March 3, 2026, in what will be the first of four major seasons for Year 11.

Rainbow Six Siege X is a free-to-play title, so the arrival of Operation Silent Hunt should spell a perfect time for both newcomers and returning fans to dive into the espionage action.

That being said, the update is bound to bring with it the usual server downtime, so make sure you don’t plan to log in when that’s scheduled.

The Metal Gear Solid protagonist marks the 39th attacker to be introduced to Rainbow Six Siege X, and he will have the following pieces of kit:

  • Secondary: Tacit.45
  • Primary Gadget: Soliton Radar MK3
  • Secondary Gadget: OSP Pouch

Snake specialises in reconnaissance, with his Primary Gadget allowing you to see enemy positions, as well as their vision cones. Additionally, he comes with a unique Secondary Gadget that lets you pick up five different Secondary Gadgets off of dead players, offering some of the most versatile loadouts in the game.
