PlayStation Plus is Removing 9 Games in August

PlayStation Plus’s ‘Last Chance to Play’ section has been updated, with 9 games leaving in August, including Dead Island 2.

With PlayStation Plus, subscribers receive new games every month for both the Game Catalog and the Classics Catalog. However, alongside the arrival of new titles, some games are also removed from the library. The latest list of removals has just been revealed on the PlayStation Store.

Dead Island 2 and 8 Other Games Leaving PlayStation Plus in August

As reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, a new list has been provided for PlayStation Plus’ ‘Last Chance to Play’ section, with 9 games being removed in August. Five out of the nine games were supposed to leave in July, but have now been pushed to August. These five games have listed August 18 as the last day on PlayStation Plus. The four new games don’t have dates on the store listing yet, but are expected to leave when the Game Catalog and Classic Catalog additions arrive for the next month.

Among the games being removed, one title that players should definitely check out is Dead Island 2. If you enjoy games with engaging gameplay, plenty of gore, and a strong focus on zombie-slaying, this one is worth your time. The game takes players to iconic locations in Los Angeles, allowing for intense, visceral, and gory first-person combat. You’ll face a variety of zombie types using distinct weapons, all equipped with an expansive mod system.
