2K Sports has released its first gameplay trailer for NBA 2K27.

In addition, the roadmap for the game has also been unveiled with some details on new features coming to the game.

Updates Across All Modes

Releasing on August 28, NBA 2K27 features what 2K Sports calls a more balanced on-court experience with improved AI defender play and a new dynamic Dunk Meter.

Elsewhere in the game, MyCareer gets a new prelude story featuring the legendary Rucker Park while The City will feature a new nighttime look.

MyPlayer will include 19 brand-new badges, and expands the total number from 40 to 53. With MyNBA, the developers have added various fan-requested features like No-Trade Clauses for free agents and salary cap effects for teams going to the CBA’s second apron.

Finally, for MyTeam, 2K Sports is adding a cross-platform Auction House for users on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Those on PC will have their own Auction House.

Speaking of PC, the game still won’t support crossplay between PC and console. Once again, crossplay is only available between the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Check out the trailer, and stay tuned for the full NBA 2K27 reveal stream on August 18. Insider Gaming will have full coverage of everything shown and announced.
