Metal Gear Solid Master Collection 2 Release Date Revealed

PlayStation State of Play had its own Konami section this time around, announcing Metal Gear Solid Master Collection 2’s release date first.

Since the arrival of Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, players have been eagerly waiting for new releases from the series, and they have finally got it. The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection 2 will be released on August 27, 2026, and will include loads of content for players to enjoy on current-gen consoles.

Announced during the State of Play event, the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection 2 will arrive with 2 games when it releases in August 2026: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (+ screenplay book/master book MGS 4 database) and Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker (+ screenplay book/master book). Additionally, players will receive Metal Gear Ghost Babel and Digital Soundtrack Vol. 2 as bonus content. Check out the new trailer below:
