Halo moves to Activision amidst Xbox restructuring and layoffs

Xbox has announced sweeping changes to the company, including the transfer of Rare and the Halo franchise to Activision, who will develop any future titles.

The announcement came early Tuesday morning in a blog post, which laid out the transfer and restructuring of various studios, as well as the news that 268 jobs have been cut, including from the newly rebranded Halo Studios.
