Activision accidentally revealed two new game modes coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and one of which supports 20v20 matches with wingsuits.
At the Xbox Showcase earlier this month, Treyarch surprised fans at the Xbox Showcase with a Black Ops 7 reveal trailer. It’s since been confirmed that BO7 follows the events of BO2 and is set around 2035. The Campaign follows the BO2 protagonist, David Mason, as he leads a new group of Black Ops operatives against a familiar foe, Raul Menendez.
As for Zombies, the traditional round-based format is set to return. In Multiplayer, leaks suggested that there would be jetpacks, but the devs stepped forward and confirmed that the game won’t have jetpacks. That being said, the latest info dump does confirm there will be wingsuits.
Black Ops 7 Game Modes Revealed Through Call of Duty App
Along with new images, CharlieIntel reported, “An internal, developer-only Black Ops 7 play test was set to begin this weekend. They accidentally pushed the message of the day to everyone on Xbox on the Call of Duty app, instead.”
The internal messages unveiled information about Skirmish, a 20v20 mode set on a large map. CharlieIntel shared the mode’s description.
“Use your wingsuit to flank and reach objectives before your enemy. The first team to reach the score limit wins!”
Meanwhile, Overload features two teams of 6 as they each fight to control a neutral EMP device that must be delivered to the enemy HO to score.
In other gaming news, the latest Dying Light 2 update is now live, a Fortnite cheater is required to pay $175,000, and the Xbox 360 has received an update 20 years after its launch.
