Apex Legends launches big XIM crackdown, over 2,000 accounts permanently banned

Respawn has permanently banned more than 2,000 Apex Legends accounts, this time targeting XIM cheat adapters. According to Apex’s official ApexLiveComms X account, a new detection system aimed specifically at these devices was used on Feb. 19, 2026, which resulted in the bans.

This latest banwave follows an earlier crackdown in January that focused on Titan-brand cheat devices and saw over 1,000 accounts removed.
