Hideo Kojima reveals how Sony dropping Physint nearly forced him to downsize his studio

Hideo Kojima has shared more details about Sony’s decision to drop Physint, revealing that he feared Kojima Productions could collapse after PlayStation unexpectedly withdrew funding from the project in June. Kojima says he learned about the cancellation during a Zoom call with Sony representatives and initially kept the news from most of his staff while searching for another publisher.
