Path To Doomsday: Age Of Ultron Event In Marvel Rivals—Start Date & Launch Times

Avengers: Doomsday is going to be a cultural phenomenon when it drops on December 18, 2026, regardless of how good the film actually is, and Marvel Rivals is doing its best to fuel the hype even further. That’s all thanks to the Path to Doomsday, a collection of live events that celebrate the prior Avengers films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It began in April with the Path to Doomsday: Avengers event, but it’s fair to say that it was slightly underwhelming. With a lacklustre game mode and select rewards, it wasn’t the beginning NetEase were hoping for. With that in mind, the Age of Ultron event was delayed, but we’re getting ever closer to the new release date.

Will it be better than the Avengers event? There’s only one way to find out, and that’s to get involved. Here’s when the Path to Doomsday: Age of Ultron event begins in Marvel Rivals.

Path To Doomsday: Age Of Ultron Release Date

The next chapter of the Path to Doomsday begins on July 30, with the next event themed around the second Avengers movie, Age of Ultron.

NetEase has switched out the 1v6 game mode from the Avengers chapter with a PvE mode, where you’ll team up and battle through Ultron’s army in a new Avengers Tower map.

Of course, the event would be incomplete without some Age of Ultron-themed cosmetics, so you’ll be glad to know that Scarlet Witch and Ultron himself will be receiving movie-accurate bundles in the store along with the event’s release.

As for the event itself, it’s bound to be a limited-time affair, but specific end dates haven’t been revealed. As soon as they are, this article will be updated, but for now, here’s exactly when the Age of Ultron event should go live.

Path To Doomsday: Age Of Ultron Start Times

Exact start times for the Age of Ultron event in Marvel Rivals haven’t been shared, but judging from prior release patterns, it’s likely to begin on July 30, 2026, at 3 AM PT.

It’s a day before the usual Friday updates, but since this event comes with a host of new cosmetics in the store, Thursday makes more sense. Of course, there’s a whole world of fans out there desperate to get in on the action, with the event kicking off with a global release structure.
