To prepare everyone for the release of League of Legends Classic, Riot Games has planned showmatches in the nostalgic game.
There will be showmatches across the CBLOL, China, LEC, LCK, LCS, LCP and other leagues to celebrate the start of every LoL region’s Summer Split.
These LoL Classic matches will feature esports legends from across Brazil, China, Europe, Korea, Latin America, North America, and Asia Pacific competing against each other.
Here is the schedule and the chosen teams for each region’s upcoming event.
NA LCS TSM vs CLG Showmatch
In North America, Riot is bringing back the two most iconic NA LCS teams in Team SoloMid and Counter-Logic Gaming.
Legends of both teams will compete against each other at 1:00 PM PT (4:00 PM ET) on Friday, July 24.
Riot has also revealed that Twitch Drops will be enabled for the match, with viewers able to earn old in-game CLG and TSM icons.
The line-ups for the two teams will be:

- Top – Hauntzer
- Jungle – Theoddone
- Mid – Hai
- ADC – Zven
- Support – Xpecial
- CLG Legends
- Top – ZionSpartan
- Jungle – Xmithie
- Mid – Pobelter
- ADC – Doublelift

Søren ‘Bjergsen’ Bjerg was originally supposed to play mid lane for TSM but had to back out of the event due to a personal matter.
CBLOL paiN Gaming vs CNB Showmatch
Brazil’s CBLOL will also be hosting a showmatch with legends from two of its most storied teams, paiN Gaming and CNB e-Sports Club.
The showmatch will begin at 1:00 PM BRT/GMT-3 (12:00 PM ET) on Saturday, July 25.
The line-up for both teams will be:

LCP Legends vs Pros LoL Classic Showmatch
APAC’s LCP is doing things slightly differently by having current pro players take on legendary pros at Classic.
Though most of the legends are still coaching or playing for LCP teams.
The Team Baron vs Team Dragon showmatch will take place on Saturday, July 25, starting at 3:30PM GMT+8 (3:30 AM ET).
The line-ups for the two teams will be:

- Top – Evi (Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming)
- Jungle – Võ ‘Naul’ Thành Luân (GAM Esports)
- Mid – Maple
- ADC – NL
- Support – SofM (MVK Esports)

- Jungle – Draktharr (GAM Esports)
- Mid – HongSuo (Deep Cross Gaming)
- ADC – Betty (Ground Zero Gaming)
- Support – Bie (Team Secret Wolves)
LEC EU LCS Showmatch
In Europe, Riot has brought together two random teams of iconic players from the EU LCS.
The EU LCS Showmatch will take place during Karmine Corp’s LEC Roadtrip in Paris, which is kickstarting the Summer Split.
It will be a best-of-three, starting at 1:30 PM CEST (7:30 AM ET)on Saturday, July 25 before that day’s first LEC matches.
The line-up for the showmatch will be:

- Mid – Alex Ich
- ADC – Rekkles
- Support – YellOwStaR
- Team Dynasty
- Top – sOAZ
- Jungle – Cyanide

LPL League Classic Showmatch
Riot has also confirmed that the LPL will host a LoL Classic showmatch with legendary players on Friday, July 31.
The match will begin at 7:00 PM Beijing Time (7:00 AM ET). However, no further details have been confirmed.
The LPL has not yet confirmed the team line-ups, though Hall of Legends member Jian ‘Uzi’ Zi-Hao is likely to participate.
LCK Classic Showmatch
Meanwhile, Korea’s LCK showmatch has a stacked line-up confirmed with former Samsung, T1, CJ Entus, and KT Rolster players.
Originally, the match was set to take place on Monday, August 3 but has since been moved to Tuesday, August 4, with a 5:00 PM KST (4:00 AM ET) start time.
The match will feature the following two teams:

- Mid – PawN
- ADC – Piglet
- Support – Heart
- Team CJ Entus Rolster
- Top – MakNooN
- Jungle – InSec
- Mid – Kuro

LATAM Creators and ex-Pros Showmatch
The LATAM Legends showmatch will feature content creators and former pros from the Latin America region.
The showmatch will begin at 3:00 PM CST (5:00 PM ET) on Friday, August 7.
However, with the match still two weeks away, Riot has not confirmed any of the participating players yet.
