How to Get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Beta Early Access

A new entry in the long-running Call of Duty franchise is right around the corner, with Modern Warfare 4 on the horizon, and early access is available for the beta.

The Modern Warfare 4 beta is spread across two weekends, providing players with the first opportunity to experience the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise, but the first weekend is reserved for those with early access.

How to Get MW4 Beta Early Access

Entry to the early access beta for Modern Warfare 4 is reserved for those who pre-order the upcoming Call of Duty title, though there are some caveats.

The early access beta is only available on PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S, with Nintendo Switch 2 players locked out until the open beta the following week.

To secure a spot in the early access beta, you need to preorder the title on PC, PS5, or XBOX Series X|S, but there could be other ways to gain access.

Previous events have provided early access to the beta as rewards for purchasing other items or via Twitch Drops, so keep an eye to see if any other opportunities present themselves.

When is Modern Warfare 4 Beta Early Access?

The Modern Warfare 4 beta is spread across two weekends, with the early access period beginning immediately after the Call of Duty: NEXT Showcase on August 21.

Exact timings for the start are yet to be revealed, but it’s been confirmed the early access beta will be spread over four days, concluding on August 25.

Of course, that’s just the first opportunity to play, and those with early access will also be able to play during the second beta weekend, beginning August 28 and running through September 1.

However, the doors for the first weekend are not open to everyone, and you’ll need to take extra steps to be included in the initial weekend.
