The next year of major titles has started to take shape, with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis among the highlights, and early access details have already emerged.
The reimagining of the Tomb Raider story from Crystal Dynamics has been pushed back to a February 2027 release date, joining several high-profile releases in that window, including the likes of Fable.
Jumping in with early access has become a popular approach for gamers, and Insider Gaming has the details on whether this is possible in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.
Does Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Have Early Access?

Yes, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis has an early access period that enables players to jump in up to two days earlier than the standard release date.
Early access periods have become increasingly common in modern gaming, often resulting in what is essentially two release dates, one for those with early access and another for the standard release date.
However, early access is often locked behind an additional purchase, and that is once again the case for Legacy of Atlantis, as those who want to be among the first to play the game will have to fork out a bit more for the privilege.
How to Get Legacy of Atlantis Early Access
The early access window of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is only available for those who splash out for the Deluxe Edition or the Collector’s Edition of the title.
A 48-hour early access period is one of the main incentives for purchasing one of the more expensive editions of the latest Tomb Raider title, alongside outfits, DLC packs, and, in the case of the Collector’s Edition, a host of physical bonuses.
That means that a minimum of an extra $10 will need to be paid in order to jump into Legacy of Atlantis during the early access period, which won’t be worth the outlay for many players.
It could end up being decent value for money, however, based on the price of the DLC Story Packs when they are released post-launch.
