Tundra Esports has announced the departure of its Dota 2 roster, with the full roster moving to the 1win Dota 2 division, effectively withdrawing Tundra from the space.

The roster will still contest The International 2026, now under the banner of 1win Esports, as team invites are assigned to the roster’s core rather than the organization.

The new 1win Esports roster is:

  • Ivan ‘Pure’ Moskalenko
  • Bozhidar ‘bzm’ Bogdanov
  • Neta ’33’ Shapira
  • Matthew ‘Ari’ Walker
  • Matthew ‘Whitemon’ Filemon

Tundra become latest org to leave Dota 2

Following rumours of Tundra Esports’ departure from the Dota 2 space, Tundra has confirmed that they have now stopped competing in the space after the departure of the roster.

Tundra has become one of the most recognizable and successful organizations in the Dota 2 space since its entry in 2021, with the roster most-famously lifting the Aegis at The International 2022.

The roster also won Tier 1 events at ESL Fall 2021, FISSURE Playground 1, and every single BLAST Slam between BLAST Slam II and BLAST Slam V, a remarkable four-event run.

So far in 2026, the roster has won two events: DreamLeague Season 28, remarkably taking down an inform Aurora, and ESL One Birmingham 2026, where Ari lifted the ESL One trophy in front of his home crowd in the UK.

Despite their dominant record at BLAST events, the roster failed to reach the playoffs of BLAST Slam VII in their last event representing Tundra.

Their 9th-10th place finish in the online portion of the event seems less surprising following the news of the behind-the-scenes changes that the players were facing in switching organizations.

The organization becomes the latest org to depart the competitive Dota 2 space after Heroic left the scene, citing “unsustainable” finances as the reason for their departure. The roster was later signed by LGD Gaming.
