With the Sony PlayStation calendar looking a bit bare, the February 2026 State of Play is the company’s time to shine a big blue spotlight on PlayStation and its PS5 games and products for the rest of the year and beyond.

2026 has already gotten off to a hot start with presentations and showcases. Before the February PlayStation State of Play announcement, we’ve already seen a Nintendo Direct and the excellent Xbox Developer Direct.

What To Expect From Sony State of Play February 2026

We know for sure that Bungie is showing off more of Marathon ahead of its release. There will be no Wolverine, and Saros is likely to be shown, and the Sony State of Play bingo card has various games, from Marvel Tokon to Starfield.

It should also be pointed out that a key Detroit: Become Human actor had an interesting reaction to the State of Play Announcement.
