Electronic Arts (EA) announced that its NET bookings increased YoY by 38% thanks to the success of Battlefield 6.

The news was announced in the company’s latest financial call, saying that its increased net bookings were thanks to the highly successful release of Battlefield 6.

EA said the game was the “best-selling shooter title of 2025, setting new franchise engagement records.”

As in past reports, EA did not report on any sales numbers connected to its titles, but Insider Gaming understands that the game had “well surpassed” 10 million units sold in 2025.

Unlike past earnings call, EA will not be hosting a conference call this time around due to the company’s impending sale. The sale will see Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), Silver Lake and Jared Kushner’s Affinity Partners take the publicly held company private this summer.

Battlefield 6’s strong start has been butchered over the last month or so, with player numbers declining due to a lack of post-launch content. EA and Battlefield Studios are yet to announce how they hope to turn the tide in upcoming DLC releases.

Battlefield 6 is available now on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
