EA is kicking off a week-long Battlefield 6 free trial just in time for the Thanksgiving break, giving players the perfect chance to dive into its massive and chaotic battles. You’ll be able to jump across several maps, test out different modes, and get a real feel for the game’s large-scale warfare, all without spending a cent.

Whether you’re a returning Battlefield veteran or someone curious about the franchise, this trial is basically your free ticket to the game’s signature destruction, vehicles, and all-out firefights. Here’s everything you need to know about the BF6 free trial.

According to the Battlefield 6 and REDSEC Season 1 roadmap, the free trial will run from Nov. 25 to Dec. 2, 2025, giving you a full week to drop into the chaos and see what BF6 is all about. EA hasn’t announced the exact rollout time yet, but if the studio sticks to its usual update schedule, you can expect the trial to go live around 10 a.m. CT / 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET / 3 p.m. GMT.

The Battlefield 6 free trial is expected to come with a preload window, so players will likely be able to download the game a few hours or even a day early to avoid the release rush. Once it’s live, the trial should be available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, with multiplayer access during the entire week.

EA has confirmed that the free trial will feature three maps and five game modes, though the studio hasn’t revealed the exact lineup just yet. Still, the announcement gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect.

The likely map rotation includes Cairo, Eastwood, and Blackwell Fields, three locations that cover everything from tight urban fights to wide-open vehicle battlegrounds. As for modes, players can probably look forward to Conquest, Breakthrough, Sabotage, and Team Deathmatch, along with one more option that EA hasn’t teased yet.

The developers also mentioned that a full breakdown of the free trial content will be detailed in a dedicated blog post coming next week, so we’ll be keeping an eye on that and updating this article as soon as new details drop.
